Pastor Matthew Hobbs

Matthew Hobbs is the lead pastor of McLeansville Baptist Church. He has been preaching for over a decade and has served in full-time ministry as the associate pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Burlington, NC, for over six years. He is excited to take on this new role as lead pastor at McLeansville. Matthew was voted in as the lead pastor here in October 2025. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Morgan, and they have two daughters, Hollyn and Hadley. Matthew has a heart to reach souls for Christ, build relationships, and make disciples. If you do not have a church family, he would love for you to be a part of McLeansville Baptist Church!
