Pastor Matthew Hobbs

I am the lead pastor of McLeansville Baptist Church. I have been preaching for over a decade and have served in full-time ministry as the associate pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Burlington, NC, for over six years. I am excited to take on this new role as lead pastor at

McLeansville. I was voted in as the lead pastor in October 2025. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Morgan, and we have two daughters, Hollyn and Hadley. I have a heart to reach souls for Christ, build relationships, and make disciples.
