MISSIONS

Here at McLeansville Baptist Church, we believe that Missions is the heartbeat of God. We believe God loved us enough to send Jesus to Calvary, that He rose again victorious three days later, and that upon His ascension to Heaven He left us with this task: to reach the world with the Gospel. 

Our responsibility as Christians is to share God’s love to others, both across the street and around the world. We execute this task in a variety of ways, from our monthly support of missionary families across the world, to our regular outreach activities right here at home.

We are honored to partner with over 40 missions families and agencies in their endeavors to fulfill God’s call in their lives. More than just our financial support, we regularly pray for and correspond with our missionaries to encourage and strengthen their hearts as they labor for the Lord. We also take annual mission trips to provide hands on support for our missions families.

On the home front, we strive to engage with our community in several evangelistic outreach events geared to provide open doors to witness. We view activities like our Community Easter Eggstravaganza, Vacation Bible School, and Fall Festival as ways to open our doors and welcome the community to our church. Then, with our CHiPS (Chapel in the Park) ministry, we engage kids in the community with games, food, and a Bible lesson. This, along with our community canvassing events, allows us the opportunity to take the good news of the Gospel to those in our immediate area.

There are many exciting ways to get involved in world-wide missions at MBC, as we strive together to accomplish the Great Commission!
